The score system seems quite vestigial (doesn't seem to be recorded anywhere or used except in-game), and in general the game could benefit from the controls showing up. Additionally, you might want to stick to only keyboard controls, instead of having to choose play and then use the keyboard. Asides from that, it was pretty nice, I liked the animations of the first boss.
